Active Real Estate Investing

First and foremost, we partner with investors to purchase real estate investments. Dwell Logic connects savvy investors with great properties, provides a business plan based on our proven track record and then executes said plan. Usually those properties are long term rentals but we also do short term “fix and flips” as well. Typically, we manage any tenants and the sale of the property as well. The investor provides the capital to fund the deal and receives an ownership stake in return. Our investors usually have their capital investment guaranteed to be repaid at the time of sale or debt re-finance before Dwell Logic takes any profit themselves. i.e. we always pay our investors before we pay ourselves. Often they have their name registered on the property title as well. We help individuals create truly passive real estate investing solutions by handling all of the active aspects of the business. Dwell Logic has a proven track record of successful real estate investments with and without partners.

Real Estate Consulting

We offer advice and real estate business consulting services to both new and experienced real estate investors. This can range from something as simple as advice on tenant management, to an optimization plan for a particular property, to in depth business coaching that will allow your real estate investing business to reach new heights! We don’t sell training courses or pre-packaged coaching programs. Instead we offer targeted and personalized consulting that addresses each clients’ unique challenges. We charge on an hourly basis ($95/hour). This means that you are paying only for the time that Matt devotes to helping you specifically. No sales pitches on seminars or coaching programs. Just open and honest advice and analysis from a successful real estate investor.

Real Estate Consulting

About Matt

Matt was a forest engineer before being bitten by the real estate bug. He started investing in rental houses on Vancouver Island as a side hustle, which eventually grew into a full time enterprise. In early 2019, Matt left his corporate job as an Area Engineer for one of North America’s largest forestry companies to focus on real estate investing and consulting on a full time basis.

After leaving the forest management industry, Matt studied real estate appraisal and management at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. Matt graduated with a diploma in urban land economics. An avid outdoors-man, Matt enjoys hiking, hunting and fishing when not working.
